Гуманитарные науки, искусство, в частности поэзия второй половины XX века испытали большое влияние «перформативного поворота» в аналитической философии языка и лингвистике (работы Л. Витгенштейна, Дж. Остина и Дж. Серля). Следуя трактовке речевого акта как действия, поэты стремились преодолеть границу между поэтическим и обыденным высказыванием, а также трансформировать поэтический текст в событие или коммуникативную ситуацию. Ольга Соколова и Екатерина Захаркив исследуют современную поэзию с точки зрения лингвистической прагматики, обращаясь к текстам, возникшим сразу после перформативного поворота, и к тем, которые появились в условиях новых медиа (интернета и онлайн-платформ). От Лин Хеджинян и Геннадия Айги до Льва Рубинштейна и Чарльза Бернстина – авторы показывают, как менялся поэтический дискурс под влиянием сначала языковых экспериментов конца прошлого века, а затем – интернет-коммуникации и социальных сетей.
